Christmas-time at the cabin!
Here are finnally some pictures of me and my belly! I didn't do a very good job of taking actual pregnant tummy pictures, and I actually don't remember when they were taken, darn it! But I do know that they are in chronological order with the top being most recent. This is 32 weeks. It's not a great picture of me, I was dressed to go out duck hunting with Jason.
Here we are ready to go to a Halloween party. I'm dressed as a belly dancer (ha ha) and I'm not sure what Jason is...I think he's a guy from the 70's. So I was 28 1/2 weeks here.

So I found out a few weeks ago, and am just super slow about blogging lately, that we are having a BOY! We are both very excited about that and now I've been having fun finding cute boy stuff. I made Jason a jean quilt for his birthday a few weeks ago, and had scraps left over, so I also made a little baby blanket to match. Haha. It's pretty cute. Yesterday was 20 weeks; my halfway mark, but I don't have any pictures to post yet. We will have to take some. There's just nothing much to show yet. But I won't complain, hopefully that means I won't get humongous in my third trimester! *Really, really hoping!*

Happy Birthday!
Jason and I celebrated his 26th birthday yesterday! It was just the two of us, which was nice because it feels like he's been gone constantly lately. He works so hard and long and is exhausted, and said for his birthday he just wanted to be home. So we had dinner, presents, and mud pie (his choice for a birthday cake), followed by a movie, then we crashed. With me being pregnant I've been exhausted too, so by the end of the day we are both really ready for sleep! So to all those we hadn't told yet, I am due January 20th, and we find out in two weeks what we are having! We just wanted to wait for a while before telling everyone else, to make sure everything was going to be okay; I was nervous due to the previous miscarriage. But I had another appointment yesterday and everything seems to be going well! Jason really thinks its a boy, and I go back and forth. I had psyched myself out for a girl, but now I'd be excited for jason to have a little boy, so I really will be happy with either!

FULL BLOWN PARAMEDIC
Karyn stopped blogging, so I thought I would write a little note. I passed my Paramedic exam and I am a full blown PARAMEDIC. I have interviews with Richland, Kennewick, Walla Walla, and Pasco in the next few Weeks, I would love to work at Richland or Pasco. I am working on the Basin City Ambulance; the First advance life support (ALS) in Basin City. well I have a protocal test for that and then I will be up and running. I just wanted to add really quick that Jason got a job in Quincy as a Paramedic. He works with one other person, who is an EMT, so Jason gets to lead the calls. Its also neat that the hospital always calls them to come to the ER whenever there is anything critical going on, and Jason does the intubating when they need to. He does get quite a few calls, and is so happy being able to finally do what he loves!

Below is the childhood home of Martin Luther King Jr. We went to the King center, and looked at all the showcases about him, and then to the street which has been kept the same way as when he lived on it.
A quick snapshot of the MARTA station. I was embarassed to take a picture of it, so it's a little crooked, because it was hurriedly taken. This stop is an underground one, so you can see the walls are carved out rock.
In this picture look behind us, and you can kind of see how long an escalator it was. I actually made Jason ride back down and up with me again, because it was sooo long, it was crazy! So sweet of him to go along with my silly tangents!
This is in Centennial Olympic Park. We took the MARTA downtown and walked around, and went to the CNN center. We did rent a car, but parking did not exist downtown, so that was the one day we rode the MARTA. Jason really knows me better than I thought, because he knew I really wanted to ride it just for fun sometime, which i denied, of course.
We didn't take all that many pictures, but we had a lot of fun! It was so nice to see Jason, after that long! It went way too fast, though. It was very tempting to just stay the rest of the 2 weeks Jason will be there!! Jason kept reminding me to volunteer my seat on the plane if it was oversold, so I could go on a later day or at least a later flight. (and a free flight as well isnt a bad perk!) But dang it, it didnt happen. So I am back now, and Jason will be home March 4th! I'm hoping it goes super fast for both of us!!!
