Seattle

We were able to go to Seattle last week, since Jason needed to take a test up there; it was really fun to get to spend some time together as a family-we had not really gone anywhere for a long time.  The first day we went downtown and walked around, making our way to Pike's place market, which is always full of life and good food.  I sound like a travel brochure...The next day we went up to city center, and peeked into the windows of the museums that we were too cheap to pay to get into.  Based on what we saw from outside, we don't feel like we missed much though.
The first picture above is Chandler doing so well on the drive and getting his first glimpse of the big city. I like to think he actually registered what he saw...but he was probably more interested in his cheerios if we're being honest.  He does love his big boy car seat though!!

Chandler loved chasing the seagulls around everywhere we went.  This was at Seattle Center.  At Pikes's place market, we let him out to walk, and there were pigeons inside there that he thought was great fun to follow around and around in circles.

 Right under the Space needle
Loving the sweet n' tarty goodness of his first Jamba Juice! (Strawberry surf rider-mmmmmm!!)
Getting a Piggy back ride at pikes place.
...Still slurping away on what he thought was HIS Jamba juice.  He wasnt too happy when we pryed it from his fingers...

We had a lot of fun on our little trip!  Chandler was really acting like a big boy, and was so funny and lots of fun to be with.  Yay for family vacations!!

Chandler is getting big!!

I really need to do an actual post, but I havn't had the patience to sit down long enough to do that lately.  So for now, once again here are just a few pictures of Chandler.  I need to get a video of him crawling all over the place, and pulling up on everything.  He has been crawling for about a month now, and just learned to crawl up steps! uh oh.
6 months old and already learning to drive!  By the way, this was just on our driveway-we really do buckle him in when we actually go places!
Chandler LOVES the water!
Just woke up, and sportin' a tweaky hairstyle while spreading scrambled eggs all over the place. 7 months old

Multnoma Falls

I finally got around to fixing this post.  I started it and got distracted, and didn't realize I had posted this single picture.  So I will add more now, and elaborate...

We went up to Multnoma Falls (a while ago), on the way home from staying at my sister Nancy's house in Vancouver!  It was a very warm day, and the mist from the falls felt so good. These are just a few pictures at different points along the trail.

Family Pictures

We decided one day to go over to Jason's parents' house and have his mom take some pictures of our little family.  I think she did a pretty darn good job!  It was funny looking over the pictures at Chandler's faces, ranging from anger and annoyance, to confusion.  He looked like Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes.  I don't know how many besides my family are familiar with those comics, but they are pretty cute, and his parents can never get him to smile for pictures.  He's always pulling some kind of face.  He also has a huge amount of energy, smarts, and imagination-and those who have seen Chandler can attest to it that he is  VERY active!  He can't even crawl yet, but I already know he is going to be a busy boy.  So if you go read the Calvin and hobbes comics, you will have a pretty good idea of how Chandler might be.  So here are some that were cute or funny of him, but not neccesarily the ones to frame for other reasons.

Cute little smile...but Jason is blinking

He is being such a good boy and sitting up soooooo tall!

K guys, getting tired of all these pictures...

Really, another one?!

Just a few pictures of Chandler to show how fast he is growing! He will be 12 weeks old on Tuesday, and was 11 lbs 14 oz, 23 3/4" at his last Pediatrician appointment!

He talks a ton now, and grins whenever we look at him!
Trying out his bumbo chair for the first time.

Another first-this wonderful bouncy toy! He is so content in it! Since he is still a little small and wobbly for it, (as you can see) we have begun to wedge a blanket in there; but even without the blanket, he loved it!

Chandler is so active, and loves kicking his legs, so this is the perfect toy for him.

He has been getting better at entertaining himself which means we don't have to hold him all the time! He even fell asleep without any crying in his big crib and took a nice long nap!
We love our little munchkin! He loves to cuddle, and is so much fun to watch grow!

We went on a little hike with Casey and Sylvia (and Emma) a while ago, and although I realized just how out of shape I am, it was really fun, and a beautiful sunny day!

All of us, finally at the top!!

Jason, Chandler and I, posing for a pic before heading up the hill.

Notice that I'm carrying Chandler before we went up, and by the top, Jason has him. I had a hard enough time dragging myself up, and keeping up with the guys who tore up the hill, like they had somthing to prove. Men.
