Day trip!

We decided to drive up to Yellowstone one day, because we hadn't been up there yet, and since we are moving, probably won't really get the chance again. Above, Jason and the wolf staring eachother down.

There we are with two wolves in the background. (above)

In the picture above, way back behind us are two really big grizzly bears

Graduation!!

Jason Graduated today, from the BYU-I Paramedic Program! He and another student from his class spoke, and they did a pinning cremony where they recieved their Paramedic badge, and I got to pin him. Jason also recieved the Paramedic of the Year Award!! It was very neat to watch him go up and get his plaque. You could tell he was a little shocked, and I was very proud of him!!! Jason's parents were able to come up for his Graduation, and it has been nice having them here. I know it meant a lot to Jason.
This year has gone by so fast. I am surprised that we're already here. I am so excited for Jason to get to move on and get started on his internship, take his National test and start applying for jobs, because I know how much he really enjoys what he is doing. It's such a blessing for him to enjoy it so much, and to be excited for his career.
With his Paramedic schooling, he almost has his Bachelors Degree. He just has one more semester and he will officially have it. So he is planning on doing that online. He has also talked about getting on as a Flight Medic. He has already taken extra Critical Care classes in preparation for that. It takes being at the top of your game to be a Flight Medic, which obviously is the allure to Jason. He would work at a Fire Department, and work a couple of shifts as a Flight Medic in Tri-Cities here and there. Or travel to spokane about once a week for a shift. He just has to work a few years as a paramedic before that.
Well that's our life's excitment right now! We are finished!!! Yay! We're coming home-Washington Watch out!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The view out our back door of the beautiful snow! We just hope the roads are clear for Jason's parents coming for his Graduation! But it was very exciting to wake up to a couple of inches of snow! I have the Christmas tree lit up, and Christmas music playing, and really hope it stays, so we can have a White Christmas! I mean, a Green Christmas in REXBURG-that's just ridiculous!
Jason leaving for one of his last days of school in the first real snow of the season. (in just a sweatshirt, silly kid)

A baby for us?

Want to see what our baby looks like? Not a real one silly, just a virtual one. We found this place to put in your pictures and see what your kids might look like. We thought it was really funny, so we posted it. But we had to put it way at the bottom of the page, so scroll down and look at the cutie. Actually it's a little creepy, and that red hair is a little random...but we thought it was kinda fun!

Ahh Christmas is here...

We decorated our tree for family home evening tonight! "lot's of fun." -Jason say's when he actually got to do somthing, he enjoyed it. Well at least I let him put the candy canes on. I'm a control freak, I know it. But he did opt to do everything but decorate the tree. He made dinner while I decorated it. He says his job was done after he set it up in the stand. So it worked out pretty good. We listened to Christmas music all the while, and I thought we should have hot chocolate and eat candy canes, just in the spirit of things, but neither of us were craving either. So that's as festive as we got. The tree is not quite done, I have a couple more stars left to finish making, but I doubt I'll get to them tonight. Hope everyone is doing well, we miss you all, Merry Christmas, and we'll see you soon!!!
